Woyasz & Son Funeral Service has been serving Montville and Norwich area families for years. We are honored to be a part of the rich history of this community and plan to be a part of it for many years to come.

For over 60 years, the Woyasz family name has been synonymous with compassionate service. The company’s founder—Peter Woyasz— endeavored to provide high-quality funeral services in 1960; since then, his successors have dedicated their time and efforts to make the Woyasz & Son Funeral Service a community business of distinction by exceeding the highest standards of the families it serves and being a compassionate resource for all.

In 1990, Peter’s son—Jonathan—joined with the business to continue the family tradition of providing quality service. Jonathan says he learned to appreciate the role of funeral directors after his mother passed away from cancer when he was a teenager. Experiencing his mother's memorial service provided a great comfort and led Jonathan to understand the grieving process.

Today, as co-owners, Jonathan—and his wife, Elsa—take great pride in assisting grieving families with planning a service that will honor their loved one with dignity and respect. Their family-run business has evolved into one of the most trusted names for funeral services in New London County.
